Eligibility Criteria For RBI Recruitment for Grade B Officer Exams
To apply for the upcoming RBI Grade B officer exams, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria set by RBI:
Educational Qualification
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) (General): The candidate must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (50% for SC, ST, and PWD categories) or an equivalent grade, as well as in the 12th and 10th standard examinations.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)-DEPR: Candidates must have a Master’s degree from a recognised Indian or foreign institute in subjects like Economics, Econometrics, Mathematical Economics, Quantitative Econometrics, Integrated Economic Course, and Finance, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters.
Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)-DSIM: Candidates must have a Master’s degree in subjects like Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematical Economics, Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur, or Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay, with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters.
Age Limit
To appear for the RBI Grade B officer exams, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old. However, candidates who are physically handicapped and belong to the SC/ST/PwD categories will be given age relaxation as per the regulations set by the board.
Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1992, and is planning to permanently settle in India.
Selection Process of RBI Recruitment for Grade B Officer Exams
There are three stages that lead to the candidate's selection in the RBI Grade B Officer Exams: prelims, mains, and interview.
Prelims
Examination Mode: Online
Time duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
Maximum marks: 200
Subject Names: General Awareness, English Language, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.
Marking System: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

RBI Grade B Officer Exams 2024 Application Fee
General and OBC candidates are required to pay a total of Rs 850 as an application fee for appearing in the RBI Grade B Officer Exams. However, candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories will only need to pay Rs 100 for the submission of the application form. Candidates can apply for the exam through the official website of the RBI once the notification has been released. You will be required to enter all the required information in the online procedure and submit the necessary files, such as photos and signatures.
